Counselling and psychotherapy in Brighton

Hello. Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Mary Davies and I have been a practising therapist in Brighton for the past 20 years.

I am experienced in providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I have also worked in NHS mental health services for many years, including alongside emergency services.

You may have visited my website because you have a general interest in exploring your thoughts and feelings; because you are training as a therapist; because you feel you are struggling with something specific at present; or because you are seeking professional supervision of your work. Whatever your reason, I hope to be able to provide what you are looking for. Seeking appropriate help is a very important first step.

I am qualified in Transactional Analysis (TA) psychotherapy. You may have heard of psychological game-playing, Parent/Adult/Child ego states, I'm OK, You're OK, or Lifescript. TA uses these ideas to understand a person's life experience and help you to make positive life changes so that you can feel OK, and that other people are OK, and that you can win at life in whatever your personal aspirations or goals are.

I work with individuals, couples and groups on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

I am experienced in helping clients who have experienced difficulties with :

* Abuse
* Addiction
